Property Management Company in East Orange looking for a diligent, organized and skilled person to join our growing team. We are looking for a full-time leasing assistant to provide support to our Leasing & Property Maintenance departments.
This is an in-person position that requires office hours in additional to field work.
Compensation will be determined by experience & qualifications.
Must be willing to work a regular schedule that includes Saturday and Sunday hours. Must have reliable transportation to travel between properties.
No real estate license or prior leasing experience required. Training is available
Responsibilities include but are not limited to;
- Lead Generation
- Marketing
- Prospect Screening
- Answering Phone Call Inquiries about available rentals
- Reviewing & Responding to Emails & Inquiries
- Present properties through personal tours
- Unit evaluation inspections
- Review Rental Applications for completeness
Requirements:
- Highschool Diploma or equivalent
- Reliable Transportation to East Orange, NJ (Must be within 20-minute travel distance)
- Articulate & Eloquent in speech & written communications
- Time Management Skills
- Proactive and Responsible Demeanor
- Interpersonal skills
- Effective & Clear communication skills
- Punctuality & Reliability
- Working smartphone
- Sensitive to confidential information
- 2-3 years’ experience in leasing administration, showing agent, or similar role.
- Experience with multi-tasking under pressure
Work Schedule (Days & Time Open for Change)
Weekdays are flexible. Weekends are Required.

- Wednesday - Off
- Thursday - 12:00PM - 8:00PM
- Friday - 2:00PM - 8:00PM
- Saturday - 9:00AM - 5:00PM
- Sunday - 12:00PM - 4:00PM
